Welcome to Cheesquake Farms! We are Linda & Bob, 4th & 5th generation farmers in the Old Bridge area and proud to be celebrating our 39th year of farming at Cheesequake Farms. Our two farms are located in Old Bridge, the heart of central New Jersey. We grow top quality flower and vegetable plants, Easter flowers, fresh vegetables, bedding plants, pumpkins and many other crops. Bales of straw are available retail and wholesale (for wholesale prices call Bob). At Christmas, we offer top quality fresh cut trees, custom wreaths, grave blankets, kissing balls and mailbox swags. Also available is fresh cut greenery, undecorated wreaths, pine roping and poinsettias.
In the Spring we have flowers and vegetable plants galore! The planting season at the farm will have our greenhouses packed full of healthy, lush, green vegetable and flower plants. We offer a wide selection so you can plant and grow to your hearts content. Our vegetable plants range from heirloom to garden varieties available. The plants we grow in our fields are the same plants available to our customers.
Now is the time to fill in your garden and containers with instant color. To get that finished look come in and fill up with plants that will finish the garden and make it more beautiful!
Just think, you can grow your own vegetables and proudly serve them to your family and friends. Linda is busy in the greenhouse this time of year and our friendly and knowledgable staff is available for questions about planting and growing.
Summer is when the crops are growing in the fields and we pick the freshest vegetables to be sold in the market and served at your table. Juicy Jersey tomatoes, fresh corn on the cob, peppers, cucumbers, eggplant and string beans to name a few.
Fall, aka pumpkin time is an exciting time of year at the farm. Now is the time to see Bob in the fields tending to his "specialty" crop. Quality pumpkins of every, shape, size and color are available to pick in the fields or in the farm market. We also grow a multitude of gourds, fall harvest vegetables, straw bales and corn stalks. We specialize in "unique varieties and decorations." Cheesequake Farms provides education tours to school children and it is with delight that we teach the children what the autumnal harvest is all about.
Winter is Christmas tree time and we have a wide variety of trees for everyone to pick out their favorite tree! We also have wreaths, grave blankets, swags, kissing balls and columns to decorate for your holiday season. Select a wreath already made by one of our talented designers or dream up your own personalized wreath and let us make it to suit your style.
Come in and enjoy the country scenery, taste the freshness of local farm grown vegetables, come in and swap recipes, immerse yourself and delight your senses at Cheesequake Farms!
